Young Construction Workers - Get funded to work overseas for a year
Incolink is offering a worker aged 21-27 the chance to work overseas for a year in the country of their choice.
The scholarship, jointly funded by the Australian Overseas Foundation, covers the costs of a return airfare, visas, settling-in costs, and some study costs. Support services will also be available for gaining employment and accommodation while overseas.
It has been established to support the career and skills advancement of a young worker who has completed their apprenticeship. During their time overseas they will be expected to work in the construction industry and undergo further study.
Young CFMEU members interested in taking advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity should visit the Incolink website www.incolink.org.au/AOFScholarship.aspx or contact Stefanie Failla at Incolink on (03) 9668 3049 or email at stefanief@incolink.org.au.
Applications close August 2nd 2010.
