Attention all Concrete Sawing and Drilling Workers
- CFMEU win boosts allowance
- Back pay coming
It’s going to be a happy new year for CFMEU members working in the concrete cutting and drilling industry after a recent win.
Late in 2011 the union was approached by members who had not had their sawing and drilling allowance increased from $6.06 per hour since the start of the last EBA in 2009.
The EBA was clear that the allowance should have been increased in line with site and travel allowances. The matter went to the Industry Disputes Panel which agreed with the union that the correct hourly rate now is $6.60 and should have increased over the last agreement:
|
